My name is Garry Robert Adam Wynne and I am the founder of The In Time, Over Foundation.
In 2022, I was sitting with my son, Arthur, having a cup of coffee at my family hotel in the Philippines. Covid was rampant. The Death Squads were on a killing spree. News and media was nothing but a pack of lies. Charities could not reach the people who needed their help. It was then and there I realised something had to be done.
I looked into my son's eyes. He was only two at the time and had no comprehension of what was going on around him. I promised him I was going to stop all of this madness. And with that I set off on a new mission in life. With the time I had left, with whatever resources I could find, I would get the money to those who really need it.
Having grown up myself in Ireland, I knew full-well the gravity of the task before me. Being in a minority group, I was no stranger to how oppressive regimes cement their power-base. I had witnessed it my whole life. How so-called charities pat themselves on their backs, praise themselves for good works while, all the while, ensuring they look after their own. How they perpetuate the problem the proclaim to be against. How it is their own kind that inevitably raise to the top keeping 'the rest' on a meagre and pitiful existence. How they look down on you, smug in their righteousness. It is only when the cameras are off, when they think no-one is listening, that you hear the sick and depraved reality of the greed for power that truly motivates them.
Personally, I have committed a minimum of 5% of my own net income to the In Time, Over Foundation. That is in addition to the vast amount of my own time and energy required. Thankfully, that means the In Time, Over Foundation is fully funded and will only grow in time as worthy recipients emerge.
